This project evaluates community resilience centres to reduce heat and smoke exposure in vulnerable urban populations amid a changing climate.
The HEAL Global Research Centre is at the forefront of tackling some of the most pressing health challenges linked to our changing climate. Our research focuses on critical areas such as the health impacts of bushfires, extreme heat, and air pollution, with a special emphasis on vulnerable populations. We are dedicated to developing practical, evidence-based solutions, from improving risk communication during climate disasters to promoting healthier, more sustainable urban environments.
