International agents

International agents are university-approved representatives who assist international students with the application process.

If you鈥檙e interested in becoming a UC agent, read on to learn more about what鈥檚 involved or email our agent management team.

Current UC agents

If you鈥檙e a current UC agent, you can access these resources designed to assist you with student recruitment.

Representative agreement

All agents must have a current, signed representative agreement with UC to promote our courses and to recruit students for us. As a UC representative, you must thoroughly understand and abide by the terms and conditions of your agreement. If you have any queries, email the agent management team. 

Applying for admission for your students

If you鈥檙e already a University of 91风流-approved agent, you can manage student applications, offers and acceptances through our application portals. If you require assistance gaining access to the portal, email our agent management team.

Coursework applications

Coursework applications, including ELICOS, foundation programs, diplomas, Bachelors and Masters can be submitted through the

Research applications

Applications for research degrees can be made using the HDR application portal.

Younger overseas students (under -18)

The University can only accept applications from students who are 17 years or older, including into its ELICOS and International Foundation Programs. Students who are 17 must complete a Welfare Arrangement Form for Under 18 Students. This will be provided by Admissions once the application is received. The form must be completed even if the student will be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Genuine student assessment process considerations

Include a well written Statement of Purpose to answer the Visa applications Genuine Student (GS) question. This should be written by the student, not the agent.

Keep both prospective international students and the university up to date with your contact details by updating, adding or removing information about your office network and your staff details on

If you have a student who has already applied to UC through an agent and would like to your agency to manage their application, or the student has applied directly to UC and would now like to appoint your agency, an Agent Nomination form will need to be completed and submitted to the university.

Please note that this form must be completed and submitted by the student, not the agent. The student should submit the completed form to international.agents@canberra.edu.au.

UC offers competitive and generous scholarships to international students based on merit and course of study. Eligible students receive the scholarships automatically at the time of application (separate application for scholarship is not required).
